Anthony W. Macchione

Founder and Chief Executive Officer
anthonyAnthony W. Macchione is chief executive officer of privately held, AMI Group, Inc. He founded AMI in 1999, bringing more than 15 years of insurance and staffing leadership, emerging trends expertise, and executive management experience to his role with the company. Macchione active in the firm’s day-to-day management has improved profits by 25% year after year. Macchione continued to expand the business for his motto of “do the right thing” for which the company and culture adheres too. Anthony Macchione oversees the corporate direction and strategy for AMI’s field operations, including sales, support, consulting, marketing, and alliances and channels. He focuses on strategy, leadership, innovation, and customers. Anthony Macchione worked to share AMI’s strategy and vision with customers and partners. Macchione has remained focused on providing in person service and educational resources to help clients feel comfortable with the changes in ACA and their staffing and labor needs. “We are an advisor to our clients, we work for our client, not anyone else,” says Macchione. Macchione holds a B.A. in Economics and Minor in Insurance from Illinois State University.

Danielle Muzzupappa

Controller/Treasurer
danielleDanielle Muzzupappa is the Treasurer of privately held, A.M. Staffing Group, Inc. Muzzupappa, is a results driven, self-motivated and resourceful financial Controller/Treasurer with a proven ability to provide key financial data, support and reporting to assist in key business decisions for A.M. Staffing Group, Inc. Muzzupappa has excellent communications skills and is able to build strong relationships both within and outside of department, as well as effectively communicating financial information to the accounting team. She possesses strong financial control and reporting skills and rigorously ensures that all statutory and corporate obligations are met for company.

Before joining AMI Group, Inc. Muzzupappa worked at Greco and Sons, Inc. overseeing all of the accounts receivable and purchasing. With a strong understanding of the business and tremendous experience from Greco and Sons, Inc. Muzzupappa now oversees all aspects of financial support for AMI Group, Inc. provides financial, commercial and strategic support to the future growth and presents monthly results to the management team.

Muzzupappa is involved with business planning, P&L, Balance sheet & liquidity planning. She also oversees internal financial controls, recording of monies received and paid out. Producing meaningful commentary and analysis of financial data. Prepares and analyses the reports on income and expense forecasts to senior management. Reviewing new & existing business models and capital appropriation requests.

Muzzupappa’s experience with reporting and her sound understanding of the month end process along with her ability to thrive within a fast-paced business environment has made her one of the key leaders of A.M. Staffing Group, Inc.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Pete, her beautiful daughter Luciana and cooking. Along with raising her family Danielle has been an advocate for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She has created a team for the MS Walk for over 13 years and has raised over $1,000,000 for this cause. Danielle studied at Dominican University.

Nicole Macchione

President
nicoleNicole Macchione is the President of AM Staffing Group, Inc. She attended Driscoll Catholic High School in Addison, IL and graduated in 1999. After high school Nicole attended Dominican University, where she pursued BA degrees in both International Business and Italian. She completed undergrad with honors in four years, while also studying abroad at the University of Florence, Italy. When she returned to the United States, she obtained an internship at the Italian Trade Commission of Chicago, where she assisted Italian National navigate the American business culture.

After completing the internship at the Italian Trade Commission of Chicago, Mrs. Macchione accepted a positions as a Lead Italian Teacher for the foreign language school, Language Stars. It was then that she made the decision to pursue a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. After graduating with honors from Dominican University’s Graduate Program, Nicole went on to teach elementary school in the West Chicago area.

Nicole decided to rejoin the workforce a year after the birth of her daughter, when she recognized the need for good quality labor in the industrial areas of the Fox Valley area. AM Staffing Group, Inc. has now grown to multiple offices, and is able to provide the entire Chicagoland area with an excellent temporary labor force. AM Staffing Group, Inc. is also recognized by the City of Chicago with the prestigious honor of being a Woman Owned Business. Nicole stands at the forefront of the fastest moving staffing agency in the state of Illinois: direct hire services. Throughout her tenure with A.M. Staffing Group, Inc., Nicole has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models, and building the most perfect personnel to increase growth and service all A.M. Staffing Group, Inc. clients. Embracing the core values of integrity, innovation, and growth. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, reading, and horseback riding.

Gary Macchione

JRGary Macchione is a Managing Partner with AMI Group, Inc. Gary focuses on meeting the complex temporary and permanent staffing and recruiting needs of AMI clients by providing top professional, industrial, clerical and administrative talent. His 10+ years of experience as a business owner and entrepreneur has given him an appreciation of how important strong talent is to an organization’s success and a unique understanding of key issues facing business leaders. He prides himself on delivering exceptional client service and developing long-lasting, trusted business relationships with clients and staff.

Gary, a St. Charles resident, holds a B.A. in Economics from Northern Illinois University and is an active member of several local chambers of commerce.

Maria G. Flores-Hernandez

Account Manager


Maria G. Flores-Hernandez is an Account Manager in A.M. Staffing’s McHenry office, focused on recruiting temporary workers, temp to hire and direct hire employees. Maria holds OSHA and CPR certifications and brings a wealth of experience within manufacturing, education and food service.

She utilizes her prior management training and experience to understand the goals and needs of our hiring companies in order to find them the best talent. Maria enjoys teaming with her recruiting colleagues to find the right candidate for each open position. Her compassion and caring are apparent in the connections she makes with the job seeker.

Maria is an online high school graduate and is currently attending classes at McHenry County college. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is also an active volunteer in her community and enjoys the little differences she can make in a person.

Joann Vega

Account Manager
Joann Vega joined AM Staffing as an Account Manager in September 2015. She previously served six years supporting management as an Administrative Assistant at Portillos.

During her studies in Psychology at Elmhurst College, Joann gained an increased understanding of human relationships, which built upon her natural talents of communicating and teaming with others.

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, Joann is passionate about giving back to her community and making a difference in people’s lives by helping them to obtain a job in which they can succeed. She specializes in recruiting the right person for the right position.

Stephanie Juarez

Senior Account Manager
Stephanie Juarez is the Office Manager and Dispatcher for A.M. Staffing Group, Inc. Mrs. Juarez was born in Anaheim, California but shortly after her parents relocated to Villa Park, IL. Mrs. Juarez graduated from Willowbrook High School and proceeded to immerse herself into the customer service field.

Mrs. Juarez has held several high profile retail and customer service positions where she familiarized herself with serving people and “going the extra mile” to meet their needs. Her bi-lingual skills assisted her in serving many different demographics.

“Going the extra mile” continued to be Stephanie’s signature as she made the transition into the legal world as an Attorney Assistant. Here Mrs. Juarez honed her professional and office skills and was introduced to a new breed of customers and expectations.

While working at the Law Offices, Mrs. Juarez also worked part-time at a chiropractic office, again, sharpening her professional and customer service skills with a new type of client.

After mastering her skills in the legal and wellness fields, Mrs. Juarez chose the staffing industry to gain greater exposure to the public. Mrs. Juarez oversees all recruiting, employee screening, and dispatching activities in all of A.M. Staffing Group’s branch offices. Her signature of “going the extra mile” serves her well in ensuring that the right people are staffed in the position and that every customer is 100% satisfied.

When not at work Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family, baking, listen to a good music playlist, and watching action movies.

Dave Carioscia

Senior Sales Manager
daveDave Carioscia is the Senior Sales Manager for AMI Group, Inc. Mr. Carioscia grew up in Bloomingdale, Illinois and attended Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois. After High School he attended Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois where he played two years of college baseball.

After college Mr. Carioscia started his career in 2001 in the financial industry by working as a clerk at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and in 2003 he then began trading for himself in the S&P 500 trading pit. He began his sales career in the fall of 2006 selling industrial packaging supplies.

Mr. Carioscia joined the AMI Team in January of 2011 where he has built his business helping companies with their employee benefits, business insurance, and staffing needs. Since becoming the sales manager, he has worked closely with the sales team and administration on bringing in new business and making sure we keep close, personal relationships with our current business. He networks and works closely with several different chambers and organizations throughout the Chicagoland area.

Outside of AMI Group, Dave enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to his wife Kristy and has two beautiful daughters, Mia and Olivia. Along with spending time with his family and friends, he enjoys golf and attending Chicago sporting events.

Joe Borsellino

AMI Group, Inc.
EVP of Sales
joeJoe Borsellino is the Executive Vice President of Sales at AMI Group Inc. Mr. Borsellino was born on January 15th, 1987 and grew up in Oak Brook, Illinois. Joe was raised by his parents Joseph and Theresa Borsellino and has two brothers and one sister. Joe attended Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, Illinois where he excelled academically as well as, athletically. During his time at Montini Catholic High School, Joe competed athletically in football, baseball and track & field. As a senior football player, Mr. Borsellino was named Captain of the football team. In that same year he was selected as an All State, All Area and All Conference football player and his team won the State Championship. After graduating High School, Joe attended Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois where he was a 4-year student athlete and Captain of the Benedictine University Football team. Joe graduated from Benedictine University in the Spring of 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Mr. Borsellino began his professional career in the Financial Markets at the Chicago Board of Trade in 2009. During his time there he learned a wealth of knowledge about the financial markets and values the time he spent at the Board of Trade Before coming to AMI Group, Mr. Borsellino was “The Regional Manager of Prism Helathcare Services Group.” Prism Healthcare Services Group was a nursing home management company and during his time at Prism, Joe was responsible for managing employees at five different locations.

Mr. Borsellino joined the AMI team in the Winter of 2013 as an Account Executive. Since joining the AMI Team, Mr. Borsellino has been a valuable asset to the company and has been an expert to our customers in the following areas: Employee Benefits, Commercial Insurance, Personal Lines and Life Insurance. Since joining the team in 2013, Mr. Borsellino has made such an impact that in the spring of 2015 he was promoted to “The Executive Vice President of Sales for AMI Group, Inc. and continues in that role today. As the Executive Vice President of Sales, Joe is responsible for the growth and development of the company.

In Joe’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Joe married his wife Mallory on May 3, 2014 and they currently reside in the Western Suburbs. Mr. Borsellino currently volunteers his time at Montini High School as a football coach and enjoys being a role model to the young men he coaches. Outside of spending time with his family and friends, Joe enjoys staying active and watching his favorite Chicago sports teams.

Amanda DeLong

AMI Group, Inc.
Account Specialist

Amanda DeLong, an expert in Insurance and Human Resources, is the Account Specialist in the Groups Benefits Department at AMI Group, Inc. Prior to working AMI Group, Inc. Amanda worked in the insurance industry as an Agency Owner with American Family Insurance and as a Production Assistant with Country Financial. Prior to that, Amanda was the Human Resources Manager for a municipality.

Amanda earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management with a major in Human Resource Administration from Columbia College. In addition, she is fully licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance and has the General Securities Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

Cristi Rock

Director of Employee Benefits
cristiCristi Rock is the Director of Employee Benefits at AMI Group, Inc.

Ms. Rock graduated from Eastern Illinois University.

She graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science with a major of Community Health with a concentration in Health Promotion.

Director of Employee Benefits, Cristi Rock brings more than 5 years of industry expertise to AMI Group, Inc. and an innovative approach and focus that aligns with the organization’s vision and ability to innovate change.

Ms. Rock demonstrates the ability to respond to client needs and the complex issues with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that continues to shape the healthcare industry. As a leader, directing a team in understanding and anticipating the dynamic ever-changing nature of the industry, at the same time delivering cutting edge solutions that meets clients’ needs is inspiring. Her goes is to further enhance AMI’s strong position in the insurance industry and continue to understand the ever changing landscape of our industry.

Ms. Rock has extensive experience overseeing specialized teams that work with customers and brokers to insure large complex risks run smoothly. This is reflected in her most recent role at AMI with the increasing responsibility in sales and marketing.

She enjoys spending time with her family. Cristi has 2 nephews and a niece that she loves to spoil and take them out for adventures. She is very involved in keeping healthy, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

George Shea

Account Executive
image001George Shea joined the sales team at AMI Group as a seasoned veteran with over 15 years of regional and national sales and sales management experience.
Shea believes in working together with customers to tailor solutions around their specific needs. He is a true believer in placing the customer first and prides himself on delivering an extraordinarily high level of service: “When you identify any needs and/or issues a customer may have, and solve them, then you have truly brought value to the customer”.

He looks forward to bringing his service oriented background to both the Insurance and Staffing sides of AMI Group while working together with their customers.

George was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, attended Fenwick High School, Mount St Claire College, and Southern Illinois University.

Larissa L. Ortiz

Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager


Larissa joined AMI Group, Inc. in February 2017. She leads the Commercial Lines division as our Senior Account Manager and is a licensed Property and Casualty agent. Larissa has more than 21 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Her underwriting focus enables her to communicate effectively with our carrier partners for a most efficient and satisfactory experience through all points of contact.
Larissa works closely with clients to implement new business and to coordinate renewals for existing clients. Additionally, she problem solves for clients and serves as a liaison between customers and insurance carriers to ensure the commercial programs for our clients run smoothly.

Larissa is focused on providing quality service at all times, accuracy and attention to detail are her greatest strengths. She is compassionate about meeting the needs of all clients and helping them obtain peace of mind. It is most important to her that her clients feel valued with the level of service she provides. She will also be your personal counselor regarding insurance coverages and policies—her years of experience are to your advantage.

In Larissa’s spare time, she enjoys going on nature walks, traveling, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends and family. Her greatest accomplishments are being the mother of two wonderful boys, Eric 22 and Noah 16, who have brought her much joy and pride.

Kimberly Day

Kimberly Day is a Senior Account Manager with AMI Group, Inc. Kimberly brings more than 25 years of industry expertise to AMI, Group, Inc. Having worked on both the Company and Agency side she has a broad knowledge of Insurance coverages and industry practices. Kimberly has worked with many Insurance Companies and has the knowledge to help her clients obtain the coverages that best meet their needs.

Kimberly was raised in Merrill, WI; moving to IL in 1998 for advancement in her career with Church Mutual Insurance Company. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She has a husband, 3 boys and 2 granddaughters that she adores.

Michael J. Pinto

Michael Pinto is committed to helping his clients reach their financial goals, with the goal of protecting them from financial loss. From working in the high-pressure restaurant industry, to learning the financial services industry at his father’s firm, to later owning and managing his own business, Michael has developed a strong work ethic.

Michael, grew up in Glenview and is currently a Deerfield resident. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Kansas and a B.A. from Northwestern University in Culinary Management. He also holds his FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses.

Michael has 15+ years of experience in the financial industry. He is a well renowned speaker in regards to Retirement Planning, Business Strategies, Succession Planning, Long-Term Care planning, Disability income protection, Life Insurance, and Social Security He strives to always provide the best customer service possible, educate his clients and advisors, and focus on attention to detail. Susan Brill

Client Service Representative
susanPlease join us in welcoming Susan Brill. Susan joined A.M. Insurance Group in September 2017. As a Client Service Representative in the Health Insurance Department, Susan works closely with our producers and clients alike. She assists with creating client proposals, obtaining quotes, terminating and enrolling employees as well as providing general customer service to our clients.

Susan brings many years of customer service experience to A.M. Insurance Group. Prior to joining A.M. Insurance Group she worked in the material handling industry for 5 years where she handled purchasing, invoicing, processing orders, sales team support, and processing sales team commissions. In addition, Susan worked for a large food broker for 15 years where she wore many hats including; Customer Service Supervisor, category management, liaison to the sales team & suppliers, providing service and support as well as traveled to various customer shows to help promote products.

She grew up in Chicago, moving to the suburbs her senior year of high school. After high school, she graduated with an Associate’s degree from College of DuPage. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, boating and vacationing.

Susan is looking forward to being an instrumental part of A.M. Insurance Group for many years to come.
